The Farm To Farm Ultra Run is a long-distance, road-running event in Freeport and Brunswick, Maine and consists of 25K, 50K, and 50 Mile options as well as 25K, 50K, and 50 Mile Relays options (50 mile relay not available for 2023). Farm to Farm is a nonprofit event owned by the Maine Track Club and organized in partnership with the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust and Wolfe's Neck Farm. Farm to Farm is a "green-minded" event with a charitable purpose to support conservation and locally-grown food in Maine. This event traces its roots to the Pennellville 50 (formerly MTC 50), which the Maine Track Club organized nearby in Brunswick for many, many years.

Awards
Awards will be given to the top two overall male, female, and non-binary finishers in the 25K, 50K, and 50 Mile.

Course
Races will start and finish at Wolfe's Neck Farm in Freeport. The out-and-back-style course starts and finishes at Wolfe's Neck Farm with a turnaround loop at Crystal Spring Community Farm in Brunswick. The two farm properties are approximately 6 1/2 miles apart by public road, which constitute most of the race course. Runners will also run on the farm properties. The course is flat to rolling. Surface is primarily asphalt road with some running on gravel road. The course includes the trails at Crystal Spring Farm. Approximately 10-15% of the course will be on these trails.

25K Individual
Start time: 10:00am. Runners will run an out-and-back starting and finishing at Wolfe's Neck Farm with a turnaround at Crystal Spring Farm.
50K Individual
Start time: 8am. Runners will run two out-and-backs starting and finishing at Wolfe's Neck Farm with turnarounds at Crystal Spring Farm.
50 Mile Individual
Start time: 6:30am. Runners will run three out-and-backs starting and finishing at Wolfe's Neck Farm with turnarounds at Crystal Spring Farm.
Relay Options
Runners participating in the relays for the two distances will begin at the same time as the individual races as noted above. The The 25K relay option is designed for two runners and the 50K relay option is designed for four runners (but teams may be 2 or 3 people as well - please reach out)
Parking
Race day parking will be in a field close to the start/finish area at Wolfe's Neck Farm. There is also parking for team relay runners near the exchange area at Crystal Spring Farm. There will be runners on the course all day. Please drive slowly and very cautiously on the farm and nearby roads.
Drop Bags
There will be a corral for bags at both Wolfe's Neck Farm (start/finish and relay exchange area) and Crystal Spring Farm (turnaround area and relay exchange area). Runners may drop off bags themselves in either of the corrals at any time. Runners are responsible for retrieving their own bags at either corral after the race.
IMPORTANT: SAFETY NOTICE
Race course roads will NOT be closed to auto traffic. Expect to see some vehicles while you are running, usually traffic is light. There will not be any traffic volunteers along the race course, but there will be signage alerting drivers about the race. Runners must run on the left side of the road (against traffic) unless instructed otherwise. Runners must stay as far to the side of the road as possible. Runners may be required to yield and/or stop for autos. Please exercise caution, especially at intersections.

Organizers reserve the right to postpone the event, cancel the event, alter, or shorten the course for any reason including bad weather.
